Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final. Returns and replacements are accepted only for the following reasons.

Product Defects

Although we carefully check each product before shipment, there may be rare cases where defects could not be found. Contact us within one week of delivery to you if you would like to request a return or exchange for a defective product. Let us know the details of the defect and if possible send us a snap photo of the defective area. Send your messages to ec_support@zencollection.jp in English. Note your Order Number, your Name, Product Name and the Invoice Date and Number. We will get back to you within 2 business days of your message. The product may be determined as non-defective due to the nature of the products.

Please take into note that every product is handmade and one of a kind. Therefore each product will vary slightly in size, color and form from the photos. (Natural materials such as wood, brass all change in time. See our material page for more details.)

Delivery Errors

We sincerely apologize for the inconvienience. Contact us within one week of delivery to you if the package delivered contained a different product or number of items compared to the actual order. We will provide the correct items and or number of items. Additional handling and shipping costs will be covered. If the products are limited in quantity and we cannot supply you with the ordered item, a refund will be provided.

Shipping Damages

When receiving your delivery if the outer package is badly damaged, do not sign for it before inspecting the contents to be sure the products themselves are not damaged. If the contents were damaged during transit, you must contact and inform your local delivery post office (or delivery person) immediately and make a claim on the damages. The conditions of the damaged item will be checked, so you must keep the contents of the package as well as the packaging itself. Processing of damage claims will be based on local investigation results. Only after we are notified of transit damages through the Japan Post, will we be able to replace damaged goods.
